CBT is a method  in which participants reframe negative thinking patterns into positive thoughts. In the How You Think Matters series you will be given the tools and support to discover what your mental hurdles are toward weight loss and the ways to combat it through positive reinforcement.

  Certain diets and exercises may not work for everyone because of their genetic and biological makeup. We can help you get your DNA analyzed to find out your best strategy for losing weight and staying healthy.

ACCOUNTABILITY AND SUPPORT

Over the course of the series you'll work with groups and a support coach. We find that accountability and encouragment goes a long way toward success in your weight loss goals.

  Work through activities daily and weekly at your own pace. The activities are listed in a specific order to help you prepare for your journey. Then the activities progress to help you examine your motivations and daily habits. After that they focus on plotting goals and tackling your emotional and mental hurdles. Along the way they will focus on altering eating goals and tracking your progress and emotions.

When trying to figure out how to lose weight you'll often find that keeping track of the food you eat can lead to significant healthier habits. In addition to that writing down your emotions and observations during your journey can help you map out your progression and discover the areas you are struggling in.

  There are lots of diets and eating plans out there. We prefer to think of it as lifestyle change instead of a diet. Discover which eating plan works best for you. Not all eating plans work for everybody. The trick is to find something you feel like you can be successful with. Your DNA results and your peers can help guide you to the best choice for you.
